Pathway Outcome #1

Students will address global issues and evaluate and propose solutions using the marvels of STEM, as well as present their findings through various media.

My group and I designed a sprinkler system called "METJ" (The initials of our first names) in my Robotics class to solve the problem of water usage. What makes the METJ Sprinkler different from other sprinklers is that we have moisture sensors underground to detect moisture.

This is a picture of our METJ sprinkler system. The green cranks on the top represent sprinkler heads, the half-cut water bottle represents water moisture, and the limit switches represents moisture sensors.

This is a top view of the METJ sprinkler system.
