In my English class, I learned how to write a Challenge Essay for college and career. For my Challenge essay, I wrote about an academic challenge I overcame and how it would appeal to UC Berkeley. I've heard that UC Berkeley is well known for its English major, so I'm interested in attending.

"I learned that I shouldn’t give up even when things are rough. This experience will help me prepare for UC Berkeley, because you are looking for students who have intellectual independence and tenacity to solve problems. I have persevered this far for one business project when others gave up. This challenge will also benefit me while I’m at UC Berkeley, because I won’t give up when things go wrong, and I will always find a solution through tough problems."
